I have a lot of forgot-my-X dreams, but not once I have had a forgot-my-mask dream.

I wasnt "excited" about female robot parts so why would I give a damn about male robot parts, and I completely dont understand why I'm supposed to care.

I'm a christian, but I dont do christmas shopping. I avoid all christmas consumerism best I can.

Nothing will keep Claire's puns down.
Unfortunately I dont get them, so ...

It would be interesting if he DID go for a career, mind you.
Wouldnt he need an ambition as a foundation for such a career first ?

Other than having success as a musician, there doesnt seem to be too much there.

I cannot remember having had a naked-in-public dream since the pandemic started.

I wonder if their psychological slot has been taken over by the forgot-my-mask dreams. They feel similar emotionally.

Anybody else?

Another person in my dad's pod just came back positive. It's the one who usually drops in on him every morning for coffee and, unspoken, to make sure he's all right.

If you are able to make smile that way your significative other(s), you know you are doing something right.

Yeah, "Fresh out of the kiln" is probably an exaggeration for emphasis of how recently it was finished. That said, maybe Pintsize's chassis can tolerate higher heat levels than human skin.

Just one question: Why would anyone want somewhere to store their toenail clippings? I probably don't want to know the answer but it is also something that I kind of would like to have known before I add to a collection of items that I understand can be used in magic.

It also appears to have been glazed or painted.

Sorry for the late reply. This week work was two 12s and a 7 that started 3 hours early. Still recovering from the scheduling nonsense that happened this week. I may need to dust off my resumé. But I finally have time to go through this week's thread.

Shall I try to persuade you to accept it?

A guesstimate is an estimate that comes with an acknowledgement that its basis is so slender that it is actually hardly better than a guess. Its usage is firmly tongue-in-cheek.

"Estimate" loses that acknowledgement. "Extrapolate" is even worse. And "guess" doesn't really capture this word's facetious flavour.

So the word earns its place IMO, admittedly as a conversational, casual word.

I don't believe I've ever seen or heard it used in those regards. *

Despite now knowing the intended definition (thank you, BTW), I'm still not ever going to use it, and it'll probably still make me cringe every time I encounter it. I'll just stick to 'guess' and 'estimate'.

EDIT: * If I have, the intent wasn't clear ftom the rest of the context given.

Has Claire's big on-the-verge-of-laughing-out-loud smile in the last panel made it into the default avatar list yet?

Re: Yesterday's comic.
I'm absolutely with the second turkey in that last panel.

It took me a moment to get it.  I didn't notice the extra p in "polypamorous" at first.
