All you ladies complaining that jeans don't fit you because you have curves and that skinny people have it easier because that is the shape jeans are generally tailor to, I would like to complain.
I am a skinny person. I am generally the shape that people are referring to when they say things like that. I am not overly curvy, and generally have no problem getting clothes that fit me. In fact, I have a pair of jeans on right now that I had absolutely no trouble in choosing and they fit really well. I tried on about twelve pairs of expensive jeans today (I actually lost count because there were so many) and walked away with none of them. They were either the wrong size in general, or had a big gap at the waistband, were all baggy around my bottom, or were baggy around my legs.
I even tried on some that were supposed to be tailored more at the waist so that they wouldn't gap (and they didn't) and I could barely get them on over my hips and they were all baggy at the back. At the end of it I was exhausted and didn't really overly want any of the jeans I had tried on and was upset. Why is it I can buy $80 jeans that fit me well easily, but the more expensive jeans that are supposed to be better quality and fit are all stupidly cut and make me feel bad about my body shape? How does that work?
Please, next time you are complaining about how things don't fit you, think of me and know that skinny, not very curvy people are having just as many problems as you.
