Yeah dude, its the drama room. There were so many people hooking up in drama club when I was a freshman it was ridiculous. Hell, even I was hooking up in drama when I was a freshman.

In retrospect I could have gotten lots of action when I was doing the school play in highschool. If only I weren't so oblivious, dammit.

Maybe I'm going crazy at work or something? I'm talking to cans of peas like my anus is bleeding, only it's squeakier this time.

Edit: Hey okay so that was worded really weird.

Has anyone seen that weird little "my anus is bleeding!" animation? Yeah, I'm talking to the groceries like that, only squeakier. Apparently, insanity makes the time fly by pretty quickly.

Also, I'm a little worried by the testicle-shaped dog treats called "Nut-Tastic!". I'd rather not train my dog that those are especially tasty and you should tear into them with your teeth.

So our car caught on fire in the parking lot of the grocery store today. Fire dept. came to put it out. Pretty exciting. (That's me in the background.)

I think my dad is secretly happy to get rid of the old junker anyway, he's been wanting a pickup.

This week I have formally introduced myself to two women (one of whom is in a really good local band and who recognised me at one of their gigs) and given a third woman my telephone number. None of these occurred in a romantic context, but still: I call that a good week.

So it was my girlfriend's 21st birthday party last night. It was really cool! We started off at a cocktail/tapas bar near where we live called Different Drummer (where the food was awesome and the drinks, I'm told, were also awesome). Then we went home to drop off the presents before we went out to "da cloughb". At this point I spent about half an hour geeking out with one of Ingelise's friends from Virginia so that was really cool. After that we all went out to Die Maschine which is one of the better goth clubs in the area. I don't normally enjoy dancing but it was possibly one of the best nights out I've had in quite some time and my girlfriend, who has always had terrible luck with her birthdays with people often not showing up or leaving super early without telling her, had the best birthday ever apparently so a fun time was had by all. Also while at Die Maschine they played this song which amused my girlfriend and I immensely and we attempted to do the dance moves in this video but I don't think anyone got the joke.

Speaking of awesome parties that happened last night, we had our work Christmas party last night.  It was super fun!  I was quite drunk on alot of wine and champagne but not too drunk because I am a partner's secretary and I could FEEL THEM JUDGING. But it was fun!  I found out that I am a really awesome secretary and my lawyer who had me before I got changed to the partner's secretary was really sad to lose me because I am rad.

So that was awesome!  I had some kind of amazing lamb meal with tiny roast potatoes and some kind of magic sauce that was just delicious.

FUN TIMES GUYS.  I then slept in until 11 this morning then got up, we went and got takeout for breakfast, and we went back to sleep.  Soon I am going skating and i might die because good lord it is a bit warm today!

Oh and we are going to see a band tonight called the Beards!  They all have beards, their names are all beard related and they only sing about beards! AMAZING!

I am glad Ingelise had a good birthday Jimmy!  Also when Firefox tries to correct Ingelise it come sup with Ingelbert, Evangelist and Evangelism whihc made me happy.

Ah hey, the Beards, I think Lunchy's mentioned them before and I'd youtube-stalked them. They're really good!

I went to see my friends' bands play. Two of my best friends are in a really terrible band that is terrible, the singer thinks that he is Nick Cave but he comes less close than most people I think. The second one is my married musician crush and you know when a musician is singing a love song and they LOOK AT YOU. It creeps me out. I was the only girl in the room though, so I think that's why. Also because we are friends.

Also Jimmy, I would love anyone who did that dance if I saw them doing it. Thank you, goth or not thread, because that couple is fucking awesome.

Dear Blog thread,

I have decided that I would very much like to go to college, however there is a slight problem. Please don't tell me I am stupid for this, but basically, I don't want to leave my boyfriend behind, and because of that I don't know what to do.

I know it sounds silly, but hear me out. I love this dude. I actually am pretty madly in love sing about it in the streets tell strangers shout it from the rooftops in love. And he feels the same. We've been living together for the last six months. I'm on his inssurance. We buy groceries together, we cook together, we do chores together. We are like an old settled in married couple already. His family loves me, and I love his family. I'm spending this Christmas with them. He is the one who has been encouraging me to go to college. Basically, what I'm getting at is I actually 100% love this guy, and want to spend the rest of my life with him.

There aren't any schools around here that I am interested in at all. And he has a good job(a really good job. As in, he highly enjoys it, his coworkers love him, his boss loves him, his boss regularly asks his opinion on work related leadership-y type stuff, he makes good money, he is working to cure cancer), and his family is around here, and we have this apartment, and cats and a dog, and so much here, that basically, I'd feel bad if he left it all behind to go to wherever with me. I don't want to leave him, and he doesn't want to leave me.

Is it completely unreasonable for him to come with me? Is there any chance of things not going horribly arwy if I move away for four years? What should we do?

Is it completely unreasonable for him to come with me? Is there any chance of things not going horribly arwy if I move away for four years? What should we do?

To answer your questions in reverse order:

I can't tell you what you should do. What I can do is answer your other questions, so...

On the one hand, long distance relationships do often go awry. On the other hand, it sounds like you guys are already pretty solid together and, well, I can point to myself as an example of a relationship that's doing quite well after a 4-year separation due to schooling. So the answer is yes, there is a chance.

It's pretty unreasonable. I mean, I suppose not completely unreasonable, but it sounds like he is in a great situation right now, which is why the decision as you've explained it is more "should I move away from him" and less "should he move away with me."

A leaking gasket sprays a little bit of oil or fuel onto a hot manifold and *whoosh*  Your car is on fire.   My wife lost a car for exactly that reason once in the parking lot of where she worked.

One of my father's friends came over tonight. He proceeded to drink a 12 back of beer and smoke up in my room despite my protestations. My father left for work, at which point the 'friend' decided to start yelling and swearing and threatening me and trying to attack me for being queer and I couldn't even leave because he wouldn't let me. I wanted to call the cops but he knew I was going to so he took my phone and I hate  this! I don't want to live in this place anymore but I have to and I hate being surrounded by angry bitter violent  people all the time and no one even cares and I can't talk to anyone but you people.

I just got off the phone with my dad. Despite everything I said, and my more or less adamant demands that he not come back here, my father's pissed off that I might try and make rules in this house. Now I'm fucked up and crying and shaking and hurt and I don't know what to do anymore.

Fuck.

It turns out that music in C#m makes me feel calm? It's working, I'm not knocking it.

I'm supposed to get another psychiatric evaluation on Wednesday...I can't even believe what they say considering that I keep getting another label or illness stuck on me everytime I go there...but apparently doing this is another step in helping me to  move out. Unless they're lying to me.

I don't know. I'd have to find an extremely local place, though, because I work at the grocery store and have no car.

Argh, I just want to be happy and not fucking hide. I'm pissed off that my father's more concerned about his control over the household than about his only fucking son being attacked but hey, whatever, it's par for the course.

Now I have a headache! I'm going to bed. I'll try and find another place to live tomorrow. In Germany.

Edit: Oh, I just noticed taht you asked where I lived...I'm in a tiny little place called Albion, New York. It's more redneck than when I lived in Tennessee.

Oh my god the Beards ARE amazing!  Aaron and I wanted to sleep with all of them!

So so so good.

Also we start official Derby training on Saturday 9 January!  I have my Skate Australia, Toowoomba City Rollers have their venue for practice and a proper real coach!  After the Christmas holidays we all start for reals!  Oh god I am so excited!  Skating is the best thing!

I would recommend putting on some sad music that you like and crying. I used to weep to Creep by Radiohead everyday after school after my gym teacher used to wrestle with me in his office after school.

Dude you have to come down to Sydders and do a bout with the SRDL! I now have two housemates in the league.

Pretty sure you were weeping because you were listening to Radiohead.

This is the truth. Not only do I like punk AND ska even though it isn't the late 70s, the 80s or the 90s. I also like crabcore.
