It's like Orphan Black but with redheads.
I'M NOT A CLONE!!!!

I'm just a schizophrenic.
And so am I.
Shut up you!..
NEVER!!
Dammit, get back in your box.

Glasses and a librarian t-shirt and you could cosplay her easy.
My glasses don't look like hers, be I do need new ones.   But I have to ask... what's a librarian t-shirt?  Is that like an accoutant t-shirt?   :clairedoge:

I knew what you meant.   I was being.... ........    wait for it.......    snarky.

Eerie though right?   If I told you more, you'd swear Claire was based on me.   Creeps me out a bit and yet I am very drawn to what happens next with her.

This

I'd post a pic of me to show how much I look like my avatar, but that that'd be cheating since I modified one of Jeph's background characters to look like me (using MSpaint no less).

I'm not really into the funny t-shirt thing, and maybe in 14 years Claire won't be either.
But if I did do it... it'd probably be more like this.

Some say a pirate's favourite letter be 'R'.
Some say that it be 'P', that bein' an 'R' with a leg missin'.
But they're wrong, for a pirate's true love will always be the 'C'.

If you can find a "Readercon '15" tee shirt somewhere, you'd be a dead ringer.

Or just go on Topatoco and get yourself a TEH shirt.

I was thinking ARR but your arrgument for C be mighty convincing.
Although you spell pirate with an R, not a C. But then the captain never goes anywhere without a C in front of him.
And they both have P's, but a pirate is harrdly a pirate in P'stime...

Keep in mind that Claire didn't know about Faye's violent streak during that scene.

Now she does, and she also knows that Faye's been through hell recently.

IDK, I guess I miss sassy Claire. In my head canon, Claire's had to develop a barbed tongue to defend herself and her brother, because of her gender identity, his general weirdness, and whatever family dynamics led to her instant judgment of Tai. The meekness is weird to me, because it doesn't match her age in my head (she's in an MA program) or her earlier personality. Playing the ingenue doesn't suit her.

The post-coital mind is often a stunned one.  She may simply be unable to pun and barb as usual in the afterglow.

I can honestly see Tai talking Claire into getting a tattoo. Something cute and girlish like a guitar resting across an open book surrounded by flowers. The sort of thing that she will either treasure or would later be an immense source of embarrassment in years to come.

We actually got a nice little mix of things.  Some pillow talk, some morning after-talk, some Long Dark Breakfast of the Soul for Faye (not to mention her very close call with a Long Dark Late-Night Drinky-Drink of the Soul), and aborted robot hijinks.  Nothing Dora- or Steve & Cosette-related, but four out of six is a fairly good result.

And Claire, get a tattoo?  The same Claire who could barely get her ears pierced?  I don't see that happening anytime soon...unless she becomes an endorphin junky.  Then she buys a leather jacket and a motorcycle, and now I have to hunt down a certain photoshopped image.  Just a moment...there!

"Before she became the rather quiet (but assertive when needed) Claire we know today, and was still figuring herself out, she was a teen rebel..."

Okay, somebody needs to talk Claire into getting a tattoo now.

To say nothing of allowing patrons to reshelve the books instead of putting them on the cart.
