"Dashboard have to be the most emotional music ever, plus Chris Caraba is hot"
I'm not sure exactly what the guy looks like, so I couldn't argue to that. I was also so speechless that I couldn't argue back at all.

I couldn't agree more.
My diary at the age of 12 was the most emotional thing ever, but that doesn't nessesarily make it, you know.. good.

I was talking with my manager yesterday, and I mentioned Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and obviously didn't know that it was an album by the Beatles. She was saying that everyone on the world thought it was great, but when she saw it in theatres, she thought it was just crap.

In other words, she thought that the Bee Gees version was the only Sgt. Pepper out there, which is slightly heartbreaking.

One of my friends on another message board I frequent said that Terry Balsalmo's guitar playing was on the same level as Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Steve Vai (I think that was his name), Jimi Hendrix, *add whatever guitarist you want*.

I didn't know who Terry Balsamo was before I wikipedia'd it. Now I think I want to shoot myself. This guy has a bad track record; Was the Guitarist for Cold, is the guitarist for Evanescence, and was the guitarist for limp bizkit in their "early years" (according to wikipedia). So yeah, shoot myself.

And yeah, Steve Vai is his name and he is crazy show-offy good.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

When I was talking about the Beatles, this kid said, "Who are they?" Right before I started yelling at him, he proceeded to say, "Oh, are they those guys with Jesse McCartney in them?"

AND THEN I STABBED HIM IN THE FACE

Bonus points for the VGCats reference.

...I have reached the level of nerdiness when I can recognize webcomic quotes without proper context. Pray for my soul.

This has happened to me like, six time (without the Jesse McCartney part), but I still want to kill myself after each one. A good portion of kids I know have NEVER CONSCIENTIOUSLY listened to a Beatels song.

unlike most of you, I didn't end up stabbing him in the face though.

"Hilary Duff can sing better than Robert Smith."

It was said with clear sincerity. I stabbed her in the face as well.

Dude, you really should have stabbed him in the face... hard.
Why do all these 13 year olds go round with RIP Curt Cobain shirts... they can't remember that time, they can't possibly understand the significance of those days... Or am I just being picky?

"because Kurt Cobain was like, the greatest thing to happen to rock, dude."

It's the same thing with all the kids who wear the Dark Side of the Moon tshirts or the Ramones Tshirts. STOP BUYING THEM. We know, every teenager goes through a Pink FLoyd phase, but at least choose a different album! ONCE!

My only Pink Floyd shirt is a tie-dye Wish You Were Here shirt, which I got not only because it looked awesome, but also because everybody has a Dark Side shirt.

Has this friend of yours, by any chance, ever played with Cold? Because a friend of mine (fellow Californian, to keep confusion low) once tried to get me to join a band with him and this guy who played with Cold.

?

i didn't.

on topic: there's this guy who argued that The Pietasters are not a ska band, but a "Chicago/R&B band".  this after he had attempted to convince me that The Hippos' self-titled CD was "totally a ska album, you just aren't listening close enough"

also, his band sucks: http://www.purevolume.com/kaysplace

Well, I would wear a The Wall shirt, but I can't listen to that album without suffering major emotional damage.  So freakin' depressing.

So freakin' brilliant.

But still about as fun as getting kicked in the head repeatedly.

Green Day's making another album already? Sweet!

(Yes, I know that qualifies as a stupid quote, but I love Green Day.)

Also, I made my Pink Floyd and Ramones shirts, as well as Led Zeppelin and the Who shirts. Screw you, corporations! Fight the power!

1. Every teenager? That's utter, A-grade bullshit.

2. My t-shirts are Animals, Division Bell and The Wall.

P.S. Green Day have a new album coming out? When did that happen?

My Pink Floyd shirt:

I know a kid who thinks Killswitch Engage are the worlds best emo band. That kind of opinion is wrong on so many levels that it hurts my brain.

The 'new green day' in actually a live dvd.
Don't get too excited.
You know what? about 5 seconds of google told me that. I didn't even have to click any links.

*shrug* I'm lazy.

I went to their website and it just said it was coming out, not what it was. Handy.

And I saw that shirt when i was looking for a Wall one.

What I actually wanted was sew-on patches with the goose-stepping hammers on and a black jacket to sew them onto.
